      RARE DUCKS UNLIMITED Waterfowl of North America Book William Zimmerman - $1, This massive, impressive book of lithograph prints has 42 full color plates with accompanying maps. The cover is green leather backed with green cloth and faux metal title plate on the front cover. There are 93 pages with 90 images. Each image is signed by William Zimmerman. In range, Wild Geese covers the geese of North America, Europe and Asia, and thus the world species except for the Hawaiian Goose or Ne-Ne. The plan of the book is similar to the author's Ducks of Britain and Europe but distribution, status and migration rightly assume a more extensive role in Wild Geese and the detailed text on those subjects.

      Dabbling ducks, or puddle ducks, frequent shallow waters such as flooded fields and marshes. They feed by tipping up rather than diving. When taking flight, they spring into the air instead of pattering across the water. Most swim with their tail held clear of the water and have colorful, iridescent speculum (a rectangular patch at the hind.
