Everyone enjoys fall’s colors, but few appreciate the biology that sets the stage. In September, sumac thickets, heavy with clusters of dark, red berries, turn flaming g: cows. Cows often have their ears pierced-with I.D. tags. People first domesticated cows about years ago. The Holstein cow produces the most milk of all breeds. Cows can live to the age of 25 years old if people would let them. A cow stands up and sits down about 14 times a day. In an average herd, there is 1 bull to every 30 cows.

Why do leaves change color in the fall? When leaves appear green, it is because they contain an abundance of chlorophyll. There is so much chlorophyll in an active leaf that the green masks other pigment colors. Light regulates chlorophyll production, so Missing: cows  book. Reading the blurb for this novel, the first novel for adults by author Dawn O'Porter, I got very excited. It talks about the cow being a piece of meat, born to breed, one of the herd, and compares this to women, saying how they don't have to fall into a stereotype.

Animals that live under water do not breathe like people. They breathe by using gills or a blowhole. Froggy in Fall (Theme based on Froggy book written by Jonathan London) Fall is one of the four seasons. Fall brings changes in the weather. It gets cooler outside. The leaves on trees change colors in the fall.   It happens every autumn: the big green leaves on the trees turn yellow, red, brown, and orange and fall to the ground. It's beautiful and fun, but what makes Missing: cows.

While it is normal for a cow to be a different color in the summer than she is in the winter, fading of the color or new hair growing in white can be a symptom of copper deficiency.

The general purpose salt blocks don't have nearly enough mineral for a dairy cow. Steven figures the way ahead is clear, figures it's goodbye Mommy. But there are cows living under the city, and when they come for Steven, he sets his sights a whole lot higher.

"If you enjoy the sensation of your jaw dropping to the floor in a combination of stupefaction, hilarity, and shock, Cows is your book. Cows mostly trample and kick people, but if they get their head beneath their victim they can literally throw a person into the air and let them fall back down on the ground.

Dairy cows tend to have thinner coats of hair and are leaner with less muscling than beef breeds, as they put all their energy into making milk. In comparison, beef cattle breeds are more muscular and only produce enough milk for one calf each year (although occasionally, some do give birth to twins!).Missing: book.

When all of the leaves finally do become the same color, that color can be orange, yellow, or g: cows. In Salina won the Oppenheim Toy Portfolio Gold Seal, Best Book Award, for both Toys and Rock & Roll: Colors (Scholastic).
